Waitsfield, VT. The old deck had rotted through at the joists, beams and stair stringers. Tore it out, put in new helical pile footings and framing, then Trex decking and a Feeney cable rail that keeps the mountain view.

One carpenter, start to finish

I was born and raised in Vermont and have spent the last 16 years working in carpentry and masonry. In 2025 I started GM Home Improvement LLC so I could do the work my way: show up when I say I will, quote it straight, and build it to last through a Vermont winter.
